Carolina Springs is a high standard academy giving a broad range of educational resources for students along with providing best features in academy. Here we not only provide academic courses to help students succeed professionally but also other extra-curricular activities that help them develop a dynamic personality. Our structured environment academy in South Carolina also offers our students the Equestrian Center program.

Highlights of Equestrian Center program

  • Each student is allotted a horse and it becomes the total responsibility of the student to whom the horse is allotted.

  • Students are given six hours a week for tasks such as feeding and grooming the horse, cleaning the stall and tack, along with actual riding. The experience is amazing and gives students a sense of accomplishment.

  • Students learn discipline in academy and Equestrian Center Program is one way of doing so. Under the guidance of professional horse riding trainers, students learn to sit properly, control their horses, maintain and take caring of them.

  • We have experienced instructors who have been involved with horses since many years. They teach the students how to train, feed, breed, raise the horses and maintain the center effectively.

  • Before teaching horse riding, students are taught to take care of their horse, cleaning hooves, any minor doctoring that needs to be done, and grooming.

Types of horses at the Carolina Springs Academy Equestrian Center

Our Structured Environment Academy is having four different types of horses:

  • Quarter Horses: A student learns to have balanced seat and ride properly. This heavily muscled horse is full-sized with good athletic ability and versatility.

  • Paint Horses: They are recognized by their colorful coat pattern and show remarkable degree of refinement and beauty.

  • Peruvian Pasos: They are medium-sized with powerful built and have 4 beat lateral gaits making them comfortable to ride.

  • The Tennessee Walker: Available in all colors and a variety of patterns having 3 distinct gaits. They are smooth to ride and have gentle disposition and a kindly manner.

Students love the Equestrian Center program and it is a great learning and fun experience for them. They develop a love for horses and for other animals at large. This makes them better individuals and this reflects in their personality.
